Hotels are not yet seeing any cancellations gowever do expect to receive some cancellations however nothing like the magnitude of the previous tragedy.

The UK Foreign Office has ammended its travel advise for Indonesia on the 31st December 2004. This change has been welcomed by the tourism industry in Indonesia, especially for the island of Bali which has long been a favourite holiday destination for visitors from the UK. The change in the adivsory mentions that "non essential travel" i.e- Vacation travel- is once again allowed for UK visitors to Bali.
